The week after Memorial Day, my friend James Robinson reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in sitting down and talking about racism in light of the recent murder of George Floyd and the need for America to wake up to systemic racism. We had our conversation and I'm continuing with more. Today I am joined by soul singer, songwriter and soon-to-be-mom, Kate Priestley! We have a great conversation about growing up in the U.K., racism in America vs. U.K., life under quarantine, her thoughts on her child's future, British soul music and much more. I would like to thank Kate for her time and insight. Go to kpbbmusic.com for more info on KP and the Boom Boom. We have a lot of work to do. Listening is the best place to start. Black Lives Matter.
