Hello friends! Austin institution, Dave Prewitt whose 30 years introducing Austin to music on through his cable access shows (DaveTV, CapZeyeZ and Raw Time) is leaving Austin for love in Norfolk, VA. While I am very happy for Dave, I will miss his spirit in this town. His passion for music and the weirdos that make it, is infectious and he introduced me to music since I moved here in 1991. Even though Dave is moving away, he'll still be filming and interviewing bands in Norfolk and he has an incredible back log of content that you can find at Davetv.org. I wanted to say goodbye to Dave and talk about his 30 years documenting this scene. For episode 833, I am joined by Dave and his long-time TV co-host, Stupid Drama frontman, Nathan Olivarez. Hello friends! Canadian actor/singer/songwriter, Kevin McLachlan is my guest for episode 809! Kevin was in Austin a couple of moths ago writing songs at The House of Songs and I went over there one fine morning and sat outside with this extremely talented young man. Kevin has been acting for many years and is currently in a production of the ABBA musical, "Mama Mia" in Vancouver Island.
