i love eydie gormet! hello friends! i hope this podcast finds you well. how is your christmas shopping coming along? how is your chanukah? i am hoping that can finish all of my shopping this weekend... i don't know if i will. my gig tonight is literally across the street from a mall. i think after soundcheck, i'll hit the mall for some shopping and maybe i'll finish. my guest for episode 128 is the incredibly talented and extremely cool, erin ivey. i first heard erin on a television commercial three years ago. i liked her voice and saw her interviewed on tv and was happy to see her make some waves because her talent shined in that commercial. i've never really talked to her, so i was glad to see that she was putting out a new album and so i invited her to come chat. we talk about her humble beginnings in annapolis md, her travels to austin, then portland, then back to austin, her inability to spin the right records at a party, her husband's ability to spin the right record at a party and soooo much more. i hope you enjoy our conversation. i did. ciao! -jg
