Episode 134: Paul Minor

bienvenidos a miami! hello my people! i hope the new year is working in your favor. i am in miami. i'm here. i'm doing the thing with my family and i think it's going okay. i've gotten to spend some time with my six brothers and sisters, my dad and my stepmoms. all-in-all, people are doing well. i'll be able to give you a full-report on monday. now back to the vacation. my guest for episode 134 is texas music hall of fame member, paul minor. if you live in austin and play music or go see music, chances are you know paul. he's been a fixture in the music scene since the early 80's. i met paul at some point in 1989 in houston and we've been pals ever since. paul came by the apartment a couple of weeks ago and we talked about everything... living in a religious commune as a kid, moving to austin where he started playing in bands as a kid, touring and recording with beaver nelson, his superego, the rock-and-roll-free-for-all, his solo albums, marfa,  his sound company that provides sound and p.a.'s for a lot of clubs in town and of course, the texas tycoons. paul is a great musician/guy with an interesting story. i hope you enjoy our conversation. i did. ciao! -jg
