episode 29 features patricia lynn and justin mchugh from the soldier thread. my old band, johnny goudie & the little champions, were label mates with the soldier thread. i've always thought they were an incredible, hard-working band and i've also always found them to be humble and very, very nice. we talked about what brought the band together, kept them together and the musical and business paths they've taken. from independent band to small label and back to independent, but stronger and more focused than ever! they've released a couple of "free download" singles, toured the u.s. with blue october and recorded a new e.p. that they hope will reflect the changes they've gone through as people and a band. i'm glad i got to sit down and talk to them and get to know them a little better. i hope you enjoy our conversation.
