Episode 39: Tameca Jones

hey everyone! we got mentioned in the do512.com blog. check it out! http://do512blog.com/2012/01/16/how-did-i-get-here-conversations-with-musicians/ my guest for episode 39 is jazz/soul singer, tameca jones. i just met tameca a few weeks ago at a christmas benefit where we both performed. i loved her voice and the arrangements of her christmas songs. tameca is a lot newer at this than her singing lets on. you wouldn't think so by her amazing voice and extremely cool, gritty and soulful arrangements of standards and more modern rock and pop songs by, tears for fears, nirvana and many more. tameca came over the other day and got to know each other a little better. she is a sweet, smart and very very funny lady. i really enjoyed talking to and getting to know her.  i hope you enjoy our conversation. i did. ciao! -jg
