Episode 682: Joseph King & The Mad Crush / Colin Macleod

Hello friends! I have a SXSW 2018 double-header for you today. First up, from the remote Isle of Lewis in Scotland, singer/songwriter, Colin Macleod! Colin has a new album on BMG, Bloodlines Produced by the amazing Ethan Johns, dropping this May. The first single, "Kicks In" is out now! Colin is an amazing songwriter and such a great human being. You can find him at colinmacleodmusic.com. Colin and I have a great conversation about growing up and living in a remote area where you grow and raise your own food, Scottish accents, working with Ethan Johns, his upcoming Bonaroo performance and much more. After Colin Macleod, I was joined by Brooklyn trio, Joseph King & The Mad Crush! Joseph is one of my best friends and it's always a treat to sit down during SXSW with him and his bandmates. JP, Will, Joseph and I had a couple of vodka shots and got right into it... how the trio has been a liberating and inspiring transition, Their e.p. I Miss Everything, working on new music, the insanity of SXSW, a whole lot of laughs and much, much more. You can find Joseph and the guys at josephkingmusic.com. I hope you enjoy my conversations with these fine artists. I sure did. Let's get down!

Ciao! -JG
