Episode 963: If You Can Dance To Our Rhythm, Why Can't You Understand Our Blues? With Ms. Mack

The week after Memorial Day, my friend James Robinson reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in sitting down and talking about racism in light of the recent murder of George Floyd and the need for America to wake up to systemic racism. We had our conversation and I'm continuing with more. Today, I am joined by Austin R&B and soul singer, Ms. Mack! We have a great conversation about being a black woman in America, making music with her band Ms. Mack & The Daddies, life under quarantine, getting some good breaks, the Austin music scene and much more. Find her on Facebook and Instagram under the handle mackdaddymusic. I had a great time getting to know Ms. Mack. I'm sure you will too. We have a lot of work to do. Listening is the best place to start. Black Lives Matter.
