Singer/songwriter, Jimmy LaFave lost his battle with cancer on Sunday. My heart goes out to his family and close friends. It's a sad, sad loss for the world of music. Maybe some of you were lucky enough to see him in his last performance last Thursday at The Paramount Theater. His beautiful music and gorgeous voice were known throughout the world. I didn't know Jimmy very well at all when he came to my apartment in 2014, but I felt like I had a new friend when he left. I had always loved his songs and his voice, but I was really taken by his genuine sweetness and how open he was when he was here. Jimmy will be missed, but his music lives on forever. Peace and love.
