Episode 120: Glen Phillips

hello everyone! my guest for episode 120 is toad the wet sprocket frontman and solo artist, glen phillips! glen just put out a new album called, "the coyote sessions" and is currently touring with grant lee phillips of grant lee buffalo fame. my friend laura was able to get me in touch with glen, (thank you laura taylor!) and met him at his sound check at the one world theater here in austin. we talked about his new album, studio musicians, depression marriage and music. i'd like to thank glen for taking the time to sit down and chat with me. he was more gracious than i even thought he would be. after the interview i saw the show and it was awesome! glen and grant do solo sets and then play a long set together. i'm glad i was able to go. anyway, i really enjoyed our conversation. i hope you do too! ciao! -jg
