Episode 133: Michael Corcoran

happy new year everyone!

hey gang! it's 2013 and i'm still pretty hungry. i hope everyone had a great new years eve. i did. SKYROCKET! played at rockefeller's, we had a sold out show with an incredibly enthusiastic crowd. i'm getting ready to go to miami tomorrow morning. i have some apprehensions... but i'm looking forward to seeing family that i haven't seen in a long time. check it out, i'll be posting it on instagram and twitter. my handle is @johnnygoudie on both.

my guest for episode 133 is journalist/critic/author, michael corcoran. michael's been a writer for over 30 years. we talked about how he got his start writing in hawaii at 16, starting a t-shirt company and bringing it to austin, writing for the austin chronicle, dallas morning news and the austin american-statesman to writing biographies on amazing musicians so that story can be told. he has a great story and he tells great stories. i hope you enjoy our conversation. i did.

ciao! -jg
