Episode 218: Emily Gimble

hello friends! i hope this episode finds you well. i am getting ready to write a song with sarah sharp this morning. that's exciting. my car is in the shop because something's wrong with the brakes, i have rats in my apartment because the flooding last week, but i'm doing well... there's a solution; the rat traps are set and i am a member of car2go. speaking of car2go, do you have car2go in your town? if they have it, become a member. it's awesome. i saw danny malone play on sunday and ran into many friends and folks that have been on the show like, scarlett olson, joanna barbera, bob schneider and of course, danny malone. great sunday!

my guest for episode 218 is third generation texas musician, emily gimble. on friday we'll have her bandmate, warren hood on the show. i saw emily play a few months ago and i was blown away. i asked her to come by and chat with and she did. we talked about everything, traditional music, waco, fiddle camp, the warren hood band, the marshall ford swing band, drinking with hayes carl, the cheesey ray vaughan, paying respect and much, much more. i hope you enjoy getting to know emily as much as i did.

ciao! -jg
