Mule Ears
Hello friends! Guitar playing singer-songwriters, Wayne Sutton and Bill Palmer from Austin rock and roll band Mule Ears are my guests for episode 1541! Their new album, What Will Remain drops on Saturday, January 24th on all streaming services and they're celebrating the release with a show in Austin at Regal Rooms that same night. Get tickets HERE. We have a great conversation about recording What Will Remain in a remote location in Colorado, writing confessional songs about their recent major life changes, completing the Mule Ears line-up with Steve Bernal on bass and Hector Muñoz on drums, "dad rock", dude bands, recording in a church during the pandemic, career mistakes we made, trying to have a band as a grown-up, Bill's journey in music, the magic of Terlingua, and much more. I had a great time talking music and life with these talented dudes. Enjoy!
