Hello friends! I hope you're all staying warm. I am. I actually made a huge dent in my Christmas shopping today. That's always a relief. How did we make Christmas so stressful? It makes you realize how poor you are, how much you wish you could give people. At the same time, you stress out getting your cousin's boyfriend something you think he'll like and he's not even going to show up. I spent a lot of time the last couple of years buying people music I thought they would like, but i've seen a couple of cd's I bought over the last couple of years still in the cellophane. Merry Christmas!

We have a great conversaion about what drove Chris to make 3 albums this year, playing with his band, fighting fear with art, what the election year means to him and much, much more. I hope you enjoy our conversation. I did. Let's get down!

Friday Nov 11, 2016

Friday Nov 11, 2016

Hello friends! How are you? No. Seriously, how are you? You good? People are freaking out and taking to the streets in protest. Insanity is ensuing. They're working on my aprtments and making a lot of noise during my nap time. I don't know if the latter has anything to do with the election, but honestly, ever since Trump was elected president, they've been working on my apartments and making all kinds of noise during my nap time. Anyway, I'm sure I'll get to the bottom of this conspiracy. I hhope you all have a nice weekend and be good to each other.

Episode 539: Jeff Glatz

Tuesday Nov 08, 2016

Tuesday Nov 08, 2016

Hello friends! Well, it's Election Day. Possibly the most hyped Election Day in my life. In fact, I find that the hype, polarization of the two candidates, setting historical precedence by having the first woman running as the candidate for a major party and on the other hand, having a 70-year-old "Blaine" from "Pretty In Pink" as the other party's candidate. It's pretty fucked up, but it's pretty clear who I am behind. I wonder what the media is going to do after this race is over. What will be the next big hyped thing? Good luck, America. The world is watching. i hope we make the right choice.
My guest for episode 539 is singer/songwriter, Jeff Glatz! His gorgeous debut e.p., Multiverse, comes out next Tuesday, 11/15 and you can find it at jeffglatz.com and where ever you get your music online.
